Design through material exploration, using what is available and being inventive with it. Cooperating within three groups: structural frame, external cladding, interior finishes and fittings. There have been cross-overs so while I was mainly working on the design of the structure with my group, we have also made concrete tiles with another group. The structure evolved through material studies and a lot of experimentation. Before starting on the construction wee have produced a full set of drawings, construction details and models - both cad and hand made.
